THE FORMAPHARM GROUP AND YUNIRISK D.O.O. SIGN A GROUNDBREAKING AGREEMENT TO REBUILD THE YUNIRISK RECYCLING CENTER

FormaPharm Engineering Group has signed a contract with a new business partner, Yunirisk d.o.o. The scope of the contract is the execution of works to rebuild the plant on site of the existing Yunirisk recycling center in Barajevo, Serbia.

In the area of ​​the former factory in Barajevo, the reconstruction of the existing plant and the further construction of a plant for the collection and treatment of various hazardous industrial wastes and their conversion into an inert form, the so called stabilized solidification, are planned. In addition, storage facilities for non-hazardous waste will be provided. According to the contract, FormaPharm will carry out architectural, hydrotechnical and mechanical work. The gross construction area of ​​the reconstruction work amounts to 21,197 m2.

The treatment of hazardous industrial waste is carried out using the MID-MIX® technology recognized and patented in the EU, where it is used with great success. With the help of this technology, various types of industrial waste are processed by transforming them into a new material that is harmless to humans and nature and has a practical value, the so called neutral.

Yunirisk d.o.o. from Belgrade has been dealing with hazardous industrial waste for more than a decade. Since the main activity of this company, both during the design and construction work is environmental protection, the regulations are strictly observed. The possibility of adverse effects on the environment or the health of workers is minimized. The international standards that are applied: ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004, OHSAS 18001: 2007, ISO / IEC 27001: 2005 and ISO 50001: 2011.

The FormaPharm Group is looking forward to start working on this project as recycling is still an underdeveloped industry in Serbia. With this project, FormaPharm is helping Serbia to take a big development step towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
