“The legal acts on digital signature in ECEC member countries and the experiences of the profession”

The lecture on the subject of „The legal acts on digital signature in ECEC member countries and the experiences of the profession“ on 28 January 2016.

In the organization of the Engineers’ Chamber of Serbia and the European Council of Engineers Chambers (ECEC), on 28 January 2016, starting at 4 PM, a lecture was given on the subject of „The legal acts on digital signature in ECEC member countries and the experiences of the profession“.

As we know, provisions of the Law on Planning and Construction and provisions of the Rules on Conducting an Integrated Procedure have come into force in Serbia, stipulating that as of 1 January 2016 the design documentation for obtaining a construction permit shall be submitted in electronic form, with the electronic signature of the licensed engineer.

As of 1 July 2016, according to EU Directive No. 910/2014, all the member states of the European Union, as well as the candidates for EU membership, must comply with the requirement of electronic signature and electronic seal.

The lecture was given in the form of Webinar, with direct participation of lecturers from Austria, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, and was aimed at acquainting engineers from all areas with experiences of countries of the region, EU member states, and Serbia in the field of application of qualified electronic signature in the process of preparation of design-technical documentation and the issuance of electronic construction permits.

The lecture was directly broadcast in Belgrade, in the regional offices of the Engineers’ Chamber of Serbia in Novi Sad, Niš, Kraljevo, Valjevo, Subotica, Bor, in other engineers’ chambers, members of the European Council of Engineers Chambers (ECEC), as well as on the premises of FormaPharm Engineering Group d.o.o.
